It was quite chilly and windy, and everyone in my company thought me insane as I opted to walk over to snap these beauties in the dry dock. One awesome memory! Hope you agree!

Postage Stamp Series

I recently asked a friend if I could assist him with "tweaking" his watermark / signature used in his awesome photography. A spin-off to this is that you sometimes get motivated and/or flooded with various ideas of your own, which has resulted in what you see here now - an almost "POSTAGE STAMP" Series. Aidan's Minion Party

My cousin, Madelein, has the most adorable little man - Aidan. He turned a great big ONE (1) on Friday and my princesses were invited to attend his Minion Party yesterday, 29-Nov-2014. Strawberry Picking

My wife and I always want to expose our children to fun things to do in and around Cape Town (and while we are on holiday). One idea that's always been circling our minds was to go and pick our own strawberries at Polkadraai Strawberry Farm, a quick drive from Kuils River towards Stellenbosch on the Stellenbosch Arterial (route M12 - Polkadraai Road). This was our funfilled Sunday afternoon. Hope you like it! John

We advise anyone whois a lover of strawberries - or to have the kids or loved one(s) enjoy themselves picking their own - to go and visit Polkadraai Farm. 

• Hours:
• Farmstall: January to December / 9am to 5pm (Daily)
• Strawberry Picking: October to December / 9am to 4pm (Daily)

Cost: Each person entering the strawberry fields must purchase a container – available in-store & in the following sizes:

• Small Bucket [900g] @ R25]
• Medium Bucket [1.3kg] @ R40
• Bigger Bucket [4.5kg] @ R120
• Insane Bucket [6.5kg] @ R170
• Children under 3 enter free. Containers may not be shared or re-used.
